Shooster Holdings MCP Server

Connect Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants to the Shooster Holdings website. Team members sign in with their company Google account and can then work with website content from their AI assistant.

Server URL (paste this into your AI assistant)

Connect

The server uses the Model Context Protocol over Streamable HTTP, with OAuth 2.1 sign-in. You don't need a token, an API key or any of the website's code.

Before you start: you need a user account in the website's admin panel. Your role there (viewer, editor or admin) decides what you can do. If you don't have one yet, ask an admin to add you.

Claude (web or desktop app)

1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
2. Choose Add custom connector.
3. Paste the server URL above and click Connect.
4. A Shooster Holdings page opens. Check the app name, then click Allow and sign in.
5. Choose your company Google account. You're sent back to Claude, connected.

Claude Code (VS Code or terminal)

1. Open a terminal (on Windows, Git Bash or PowerShell) and run this once. It works from any folder:

2. Fully close and reopen VS Code (or restart Claude Code), then start a new chat.
3. Type /mcp, choose shooster-holdings and select Authenticate.
4. In the browser window that opens, click Allow and sign in, then choose your company Google account.
5. Back in Claude Code, try: "Using shooster-holdings, list all portfolio companies".

--scope user saves the connection for your user account, so it works in every folder. Without it, the connection is tied to one folder and may not show up in VS Code.

Other MCP clients (ChatGPT, Cursor and others)

1. Add a remote MCP server (sometimes called HTTP or Streamable HTTP) with the server URL above.
2. The client opens a browser window: click Allow and sign in, then choose your company Google account.

The exact menu names differ between apps, and some apps only offer custom servers on certain plans.

Sign-in and access

• Sign in with your company Google account. Only people who already have access to the website's admin panel can connect.
• What you can do matches your admin-panel role, and changes are recorded under your name.
• You approve each app before it gets access, and access expires automatically if it is not used.

Trouble connecting?

• "No access" after signing in: your account isn't in the website's admin panel yet. Ask an admin to add you, then connect again.
• "Sign-in could not continue": the sign-in page expired or was opened in a different browser. Start connecting again from your AI assistant.
• Tools stop working: your sign-in ended after a period of not being used. Reconnect from your AI assistant (in Claude Code, type /mcp).
• No "Add custom connector" option in Claude: your Claude organization's admin may need to allow custom connectors.

Public access (no sign-in)

AI assistants can also connect without signing in, for public read-only information about Shooster Holdings: portfolio, team, history, foundation and published articles.

Like the server URL above, this is an address for AI assistants, not a web page, so opening it in a browser won't show anything.
